Two Nutella Recipes

In case you don't know, i kind of really like nutella.  it's a little bit of an obsession.  so here are two recipes that i absolutely love love love:
1. Nutella milkshake.  i think this might just be the best milkshake i've ever put in my mouth.  like, seriously.  It has frozen bananas and Nutter Butter's in it too, which helps make it so amazing.  {here is the recipe}

2.  Banana and Nutella "ice cream".  this one is a little more healthy than the other recipe, i'd say.  yet it's still ah-ma-zing.  Just cut up a banana and freeze it for 2 hours or so, then blend it and add a spoonful of nutella!  {i found the original recipe here}

enjoy these tasty treats!  ♥, lynn

ps.  yes, i do indeed have an i heart nutella tee.

Smoothie Talk

I follow an account on instagram called @fit4dancers and they post workouts, recipes and just plain encouragement for dancers.  as i was scrolling through my feed one day, i saw that they had posted a smoothie recipe and it sounded really good.  but since i didn't have all the ingredients, i decided to come up with my own recipe and, surprisingly, it turned out really good!  so good, that i'm sharing it with you today.

Simply combine all the ingredients above in a blender.  this isn't a super specific recipe, so it's easy to adapt.  that is one thing i love about smoothies, you can just throw in random fruit and hope it tastes good!

Enjoy experimenting with this healthy drink!   ♥, lynn

Microwave Ice Cream

I just recently learned that not everyone microwaves their ice cream (say whaaaaat?)  I have been microwaving my ice cream since as long as I can remember.  So this post is for those of you who have no idea what i'm talking about.

Basically, put your ice cream in the microwave for about 10 seconds or until it's soft. It makes it so much easier to scoop and will probably change your life forever.

So there you go, next time you find yourself struggling with scooping your ice cream, zap it in the microwave.  It works, trust me.   ~Lynn

Nutella Hot Chocolate

I recently found this recipe for nutella hot chocolate and fell in love. This is seriously the best hot chocolate i've ever put in my mouth. So, I wanted to share with you my beautiful discovery:

1. Heat milk in microwave or on stove top until steaming.  2. Add two tablespoons of nutella.  3. Stir until nutella has dissolved.  4.
Add marshmallows if you like. Enjoy!

It's literally that simple. And perfect for this cold weather.  -Lynn :)

P.S. I'm so sorry that I haven't post in so long! Ballet has pretty much consumed up my life. But i'll try to do better!

Popcorn in a Bag!

So, my mom and me tried the popcorn trick from the 24 things that will make your life easier post a while back.  We actually used a WHITE paper bag, and put the popcorn in for however long we desired. (4 minutes) and waited. Make sure that you tape the bag shut. No, the tape is not flammable. We took it out of the microwave and were pretty scared, I'm not gonna lie, but it worked! It tastes so much better than the boxed stuff. No oil is needed, or anything. Just add salt or whatever when your done, and it tastes amazing! Just thought I would let you know! :) By the way, we ate it at 9:15 in the morning. Just to prove how crazy my family is. Have a great day!

Mini Cheesecake Tutorial

Hey everyone! I made these really simple, no-bake, mini cheesecakes last night! The best part is, they're pretty good. :) So here's how you make them:

What you'll need: 1 package (11.1 ounces) Jell-o No Bake Cheesecake, 2 tablespoons sugar (not pictured), 1/3 cup butter or margarine (not pictured), 1 1/2 cups cold milk (not pictured), melted chocolate (optional), paper baking cups.

1. Melt butter. Combine crumbs from mix, sugar and butter in a medium bowl and mix thoroughly with a fork until well moistened.

2. Press onto the bottoms of 12 paper-lined muffin cups. I found a plastic spoon to work best for this.

3. Mix milk and filling mix in a medium bowl, I used a large spoon, but you can also use an electric mixer.

4. Pour, or scoop, mixture into muffin cups.

5. Drizzle melted chocolate on top, if desired. Then stick them in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

By the way, if you have leftover crumb mix, try dipping some in melted chocolate. It's really good. :)

Make sure you clean up your mess! Haha, I sound like my mom. Anyway, enjoy you're mini cheesecakes!  -Lynn :)
